This mid-weight soil contains a rich mix of organic and natural ingredients plants love, including kelp meal, alfalfa meal, bone meal, and earthworm castings. Using this raised bed mix is as easy as can be. Simply fill your raised bed with Whitney Farms Organic Raised Bed Mix, sow seeds or plant transplants into the soil, then water thoroughly. Raised beds naturally drain well, so keep an eye out on your raised bed soil to make sure your plants have enough water. A shallow raised bed will dry out faster than a deep raised bed. In hot summer months, raised beds may need to be watered daily.

  • In New Hampshire, this product contains plant material compost, processed softwood bark, processed wood products, sphagnum peat moss, poultry litter, alfalfa meal, bone meal, kelp meal and earthworm castings.
  • In Georgia, this product is formulated from 65-75% processed forest products, sphagnum peat moss, poultry litter, alfalfa meal, bone meal, kelp meal and earthworm castings.
