 OVERVIEW: 

Imperial Whitetail Clover was introduced in 1988 and is the gold standard in the food plot industry. One of the first questions we were asked in the early years was, “What is the difference between Imperial Whitetail Clover and regular clover?” It’s a good question, since other kinds of clover like red clover have been used for years in agricultural applications and in many cases planted for deer. It’s all about the science. While most food plot blends have a picture of a deer on the package, the seed inside is often just another clover seed. Whitetail Institute wasn’t happy with what was available on the market, so we bred our own varieties of seed.
