INSTRUCTIONS
1. To prevent serious injury to your pet, NEVER TETHER your dog to or near any obstacle which the dog can become entangled or suspended.
2. lnspect this product before each use for visible signs of wear including broken cable strands, rust, worn plastic cable covering, etc. lf wear is evident, replace the product.
3. Press stake point into the ground and twist clockwise while firmly pressing downward. Twist stake into ground until connection loop is approximately one inch above ground level. Connect tether to the connecting loop on stake.
4. Soil and ground conditions may affect the holding strength of the stake. Use this stake only in firm soil. Make sure stake is firmly in ground before use.
5. Use extreme caution when connecting this tether to your dog. Make sure your hands and feet are clear of the tether in case the dog lunges.
WARNINGS
1. This product is designed for use as a temporary restraint for dogs. DO NOT use this product for any use other than a temporary dog restraint.
2. DO NOT use this product if your dog weighs more than the dog weight limit shown on this package.
3. This product is for attended temporary tethering only. DO NOT leave the pet unattended while connected to this tether. Maintain a constant observation during tethering to prevent injury to the pet or others.
4. DO NOT use this product with mean or vicious dogs or dogs prone to aggressive behavior. Not all dogs can be tethered. Use good judgment and know your pet.
5. NEVER USE this product to walk a dog. Use a leash instead.
6. DO NOT use this product with a choker-type collar.
7. DO NOT leave dog connected to the stake during inclement weather including excessive heat or cold.
