OVERVIEW:
Many engine performance problems can be linked to maintenance issues such as stale fuel, dirty air filter, fouled spark plug, and deteriorated oil. A great way to help avoid these problems would be to perform an annual tune-up. A clean fuel filter strains the fuel before it reaches the carburetor and prevents foreign particles from clogging your engine. A dirty fuel filter can make the engine run too lean, with diminished performance and uneven operation. The proper filter for your engine depends on the engine's design; therefore, we recommend that you check your engine Illustrated Parts List.

- Premium Fuel Filter, For Use With 1WVK4, 3WU79, 3WU78, 3WU80, 1TKD8, 1TKD9, 1TKE1, 1TKE2, 1TKE3, and 1TKE4 Gasoline Engines.
- Briggs and Strartton in-line fuel filter with 40 micron rating and 1/4" inlet & outlet. If the engine does not start then the fuel filter may be clogged and not allowing enough fuel to enter the carburetor
