OVERVIEW:
The Allied Moulded 1098-N single gang electrical box is designed for use with nonmetallic sheathed cable in new work residential construction. Made from fiberglass reinforced polyester, this box provides rigid strength, resistance to temperature extremes, and long term durability. It is intended for wall installations supporting switches and receptacles and is UL approved for back to back installation in fire resistive wall and ceiling assemblies.
