Daka Wood Stove with Blower 550cfm 521FB. Proudly made in Minnesota, USA!

Designed with function in mind, we started with an easy-to-load firebox. The large 11" x 11" door opening and its raised height make loading easy. The open design of the auto damper control makes for quick and accurate visual adjustments. The combination one-piece design of the ash pan and ash pan door allow for easy disposal of ash. With its open-ended design, the ashes can be "poured" out of the pan rather than "dumped."

Heat output is controlled by the automatic damper control that is mounted below the fire door. A heat-sensitive bi-metallic coil spring attached to the damper door regulates the combustion air to the fire. Infinitely adjustable, the automatic damper control prevents over-firing. It also helps deliver an even amount of heat over an average 4- to 8-hour burn time. Burn times are approximate, based on average hardwood load with 20% moisture content at 60% efficiency producing BTU range of 42,000/hr. to max. 105,000/hr. Medium setting = 8 hours; High setting = 4 hours.

A high output warm air distribution blower, with permanently-lubricated ball bearings, is controlled by a fan control thermostat mounted on the side panel of the DAKA furnace. An optional second blower may be added for large or central furnace installations.

I am the proud owner of the 550cfm we really enjoy the comfort it provides for me and my family. Financial we are saving on our energy bills, it has paid for itself in two years. With price of natural gas constantly increasing, we are grateful that we made the decision to purchase our Daka Wood Stove.
